This book discusses the issue of the functioning of the self-publishing websites and the state of self-publishing phenomenon in the digital sphere. Key research questions are related to the work of electronic publishing status, self-publishing differences, parallel terms and research methodology appropriate to the research of service websites. The objective of the study is to identify a leader among the selected self- publishing sites. This was achieved through a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of self-publishing websites, the results of which form the basis for websites comparison. It was possible to embed an electronic self-publishing problem in the research field of information science and bibliology by analysis of terminology. It was created an electronic self-publishing model, which complements the gap between the theory and the practice as the functioning of self-publishing websites. To confirm the theoretical considerations on the self-publishing phenomenon has been conducted empirical research on the quality of self-publishing websites. For this purpose, the methodology has been developed, which collect past scientists achievements in the techniques and methods of websites research.
