Popis: This paper aims to present the experience carried out in the UIB Library and Documentation Service (SBD) of the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) to promote the purchase and use of eBook through an internal marketing plan. Our goal was to enhance and Library acquisitions in general but, considering the emerging electronic book market, we must also invest in the purchase of this format, especially as a recommended reading. Analyzing the best way to promote the purchase of e-books, we conclude that marketing efforts should not focus on the end consumer (the teacher) but on the intermediate (librarian responsible for library). To this end, we saw the need to develop a training process at the same time, was part of an internal marketing plan.
