The country requires to create a national agenda on information literacy, which must be created by the educational, informational and library sectors. A normative document of this nature would allow Mexico to have a clear objective regarding information skills, which are vital for lifelong learning. Such an agenda must be part of a national plan of informational development, a document which also is required to be elaborated in our country, in order to join its efforts for a long term direction. This brief participation enumerates, as a brainstorm, some of the priority actions on information literacy. |
