The aims of audiovisual files are recovery, conservation, processing and diffusion of the images that contain. The three first ones have been studied in depth within the academic field. However, the fourth one has always had a smaller scope. Thanks to the new technologies and the documents digitalization, film fragments and complete filmographies have begun to spread via Internet for delight of the society. This is the case of Luce Institute. So far, this is the only archive that has its whole cinematographic files accessible though Internet. A study of this Webside, a virtual branch and truly screen for diffusion, is made in this article. |
