Popis: Need for a suitable book on Agrochemicals with Indian facts and figures for the students and scientists studying Agricultural Chemistry and Agrochemicals has always been felt. Pesticides and fertilizers are invaluable inputs for increased agricultural production to meet our large and ever-growing population. Non-judicious use of these chemicals has created problem of chemical contamination not only in the environment by the presence of pesticide residues but in food and man. Monitoring of pesticides residues to safeguard human health, domestic animals, birds or the other beneficial pests are important areas to be looked into.
