INTRODUCTION: Research on risk factors for the worldwide common carcinogen H. pylori infection has continued. In this study, we aimed to identify the presence of a risky blood group for H. pylori infection and premalignant lesions (atrophy and intestinal metaplasia) of the stomach. METHODS: The data of aged 18 and older 1774 patients with the presence of H. pylori in pathological examinations after performing gastroduodenal endoscopy in the gastroenterology clinic between the dates of 01.01.2021 and 10.01.2022 were used to analyze the retrospective case-control study. A virtual group distributed according to the blood group and gender ratios of the general population was formed as the control group.
