The research is devoted to the study of the features of the modern Russian stock market. The article examines the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on financial markets, in particular on the stock market. The general state of the Russian stock market is analyzed: the dynamics of the number of open brokerage accounts and ICS, the quarterly capitalization of the Russian stock market, the dynamics of the Moscow stock Exchange index. The structure of assets on investors’ brokerage accounts is also considered. An assessment of the contradictory situation characteristic of the Russian market is given on a concrete example. |
