The creative context of the songs reflects the way of thinking, perceiving and discuss the social problems of its own, including violence against women. This paper outlines the strategy that the authors are developing in order to analyze the content of the songs and elements that condition in terms of its relation to violence against women. They have been defined and operationalized several variables taking into account the information extracted from different secondary sources, previous theoretical and empirical studies on the issue. Aspects such as the characterization of violence; possible generating effects, catalysts and/or enhancers; the consequences of violence; the influence and support from the environment; and discursive resources used are analyzed from a statistically representative sample songs on which the quantitative and qualitative analyzes will be developed. |
