Designing a Competency Model for The Production Agents of The Broadcasting (IRIB) According to Views of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei

Popis: | Nowadays, various organizations have systematize human capital in order to recruiting, develop and retain their human capital; in this regard, designing a competency model is one of the most common ways to identify specific job requirements and make appropriate decisions with regard to different types of human resource systems. Among a range of various organizations, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), due to its strategic role in orientation and behavior shaping in different areas, including political, cultural and social; In such a way that the employment of people without the necessary competencies and concerns in line with the policies of the Islamic system and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution is anomalous; Therefore, the main problem of this research is the lack of a comprehensive competencies model of producers in the media industry in accordance with the discourse of the Islamic Revolution and the statements of the Supreme Leader. In order to design a model of the four fields of competencies of the production agents, the statements of the Supreme Leader in the meeting between the Radio and Television related Organization, as well as the rulings issued to the managers of that organization were analyzed. The results of qualitative data analysis, which performed through Thematic Analysis with Maxqda2020 software, identified 330 basic themes, 69 organizing themes and 16 global themes under four categories of general, technical, managerial and value-ethical competencies which respectively social characteristics and mental skills; artistic genius and effective communication with audience; interpersonal communication management and strategic thinking; and finally social- behavioral indicators and political-national indicators are samples of global themes under four mentioned categories. |
