Popis: Neuroblastoma cell differentiation is regulated by Id proteins. Here, the authors show that CaMKII-mediated phosphorylation of Beclin 1 can activate K63-linked ubiquitination and autophagic degradation of Id proteins uncovering a role for autophagy in cell differentiation.
