Popis: A 59-year-old female, was brought at hospitalwith sudden loss of consciousness. Physical exam showed a sick woman, her temperaturewas 35°C, pulse rate 88 beats/min, respiratoryrate 8 breaths/min, blood pressure 170/110 mmHg and the Glascow Coma Scale was 6/15 withocular opening to the painful stimulus, withoutverbal response and retire movement in lefthandedto the painful stimulus. There was focalneurological deficiency with upper right extremityplegia and low right extremity paresia of2/5. CT scan revealed parietotemporal and insularintracerebral hemorrhage in left hemisphere.Drainage surgery of intracerebral hematomawas successful, without complications. On thefirst postoperatory day she showed hipokalemia,that persisted in spite of potassium replacementand she had severe metabolic academia, withoutapparent cause, that worsed in spite of medicaltherapy.
