Popis:	Retracted articleThe present article examines the theoretical and methodological issues in the study of illegal migration and international cooperation aimed at preventing illegal migration. When analyzing the issues of illegal immigration, the theoretical and methodological justification becomes of a special importance. At present, the task of systematization and standardization of terminology with respect to illegal migration analysis seems to be especially relevant, without which it is impossible to start formalizing data on the global scale. The present study provides us with the analysis of the phenomenon of illegal immigration, outlines methodological obstacles in assessing the scale of illegal immigration as well as its negative consequences. Author suggests a model for measuring illegal immigration and ways to improve state regulations of illegal migration.
