Popis: This article analyses Senegalese migration to Argentina, understood here as “South-South migration” because the countries involved, Senegal and Argentina, are low and medium income countries, respectively, between whom historical, cultural and economic ties do not exist (in accordance with the International Organization of Migration’s definition). In this context, this study focusses on the formation of a transnational Senegalese space as a fabric that unites the community in various countries through which flows of money, goods and cultural and religious products circulate. It also gives attention to the networks, both family and religious, that coordinate the community, as well as the role played by information and communication technologies in the construction of this transnational framework.
