Nowadays, music teaching is being analyzed and investigated by musicians, psychologists and pedagogues all over the world. Many are the fields focusing and framing the perceptive and psychomotor problems inherent to different types of music learning. Subjects like talent and ability identification, as well as tose dealing with vocational orientation and training to a professional life, faced with an excellence criteria, deserve special attention, taking into account the increasing demands of contemporary music life. Among those problems, general training as a step to self realization and leisure time occupation, attracts many researchers attention. This paper will approach those fields and will also deal with specific contributions for general and professional music teaching. |
