Popis: Ska1 is a kinetochore-localised protein that couples kinetochore movement to microtubule (MT) depolymerisation. Here Thomas et al. show that the MT +TIP binding protein EB1 recruits Ska1 to the MT-kinetochore interface and stabilises the interaction between Ska1 and MTs.
