Popis: Although sometimes they aren’t plenty conscious about it, many innovators show a tendency to empirical altruistic behavior. That happens respect to the proper task of innovation and the latter dissemination and diffusion of the corresponding knowledge. In an evolutive analysis this pattern of behavior is affected by the classical problem of the survival of altruistic character in a heterogeneous population. However, if innovation associated to altruism would be generally costly for the individual in relative adaptive terms, that behavioral combination would not exist. I explain altruistic innovators can survive because that assortation of characters can survive in two ways: (a) by adaptations which improve organic homeostasis; and (b) by coevolution of the two characteristics in a social environment that institutionalize a reward system, and recognize the merit of the greater quality of that kind of individuals.
