Appropriate implementation strategies for general dentistry curriculum: a qualitative content analysis study

Popis: Aim: In an age of technological advancement, according to technology approach in education is a necessity, not choice. The importance of paying attention to the technology approach in medical science universities is more perceptible because every year a number of new information replaces previous information, and if the university wants to transfer this fast information in the shortest time, there is a need for a modern teaching method, because traditional accountability methods Data transfer is not with this volume. The purpose of this study was to investigate the barriers of developing virtual education in Urmia University of Medical Sciences from the viewpoint of faculty members. Method: The statistical population of this research consisted of all faculty members of Urmia University of Medical Sciences in 2017, among which 137 subjects were selected randomly. Data collection tool was a questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by experts and its reliability by using Cronbach's alpha is 89%. Data was analyzed by SPSS software version 19. Results: The results showed that the cumulative percentage of variance for the eight factors was 62/575 percent, which prevented technical and technical support with 9/720 percent of the most share of the variance percentage, and cultural barrier with 3/315 percent of the lowest share of the percentage of variance Allocated. Conclusion: From the perspective of faculty members supported operating technical and most important barrier is so with increasing speed and bandwidth of the Internet, replacing new systems rather than systems disabled and strengthen the technological infrastructure are factors hindering the use of virtual learning reduced.
