Popis: The purpose of this study is to examine the indicators for urban green space, realizing the level of regional inequality, and rating the 22 districts of Tehran regarding their enjoyment of green space. The method of this study is standard descriptive and analytical. The statistical population is the 22 municipality districts of Tehran. Therefore, after statistical data collection and its processing by the software SPSS and Arc GIS, the situation of Tehran’s urban green space was analyzed and indicators of sustainable development of Tehran’s green space were derived. Using GSSDI (indicators of sustainable development for green space) and TOPSIS techniques, the level of green space areas was classified, and based on that, the deprived areas and priorities were identified. The results show that the average green space per capita obtained for areas of Tehran in 1388 was 5.9 square meters, which is almost half the minimum recommended for Tehran (10 square meters) based on its comprehensive plan in 1386. The lowest green space per capita belongs to district 10 with 0.16 square meters per capita and with a population area of 329507 and an area of 8159515.08 square meters; the highest green space per capita belongs to district 3 with 15 square meters of green space per capita, with a population of 321496, (about the population of district 10) and an area of 29299512.3 square meters.
