| Popis: | Formulas for identifying strains that appear in a spherical section of a linear-elastic half-space being loaded with a perpendicular concentrated force have been obtained in the paper. It is shown that the conclusions that are cited for this case in the text books on soil mechanics are insufficiently exact. |
