Popis: | The authors propose to analyse the situation of social crises in ritual and linguistic terms, as suspension of narratives concerning social processes which leads to uncontrollable, rhizomatic proliferation of meanings (in Deleuze’s and Guattari’s sense). Overcoming crisis is possible on the condition that pre-critical discursive structures of articulation of social symbols and demands are reinvented so that new narrative trajectories can be built. This can be done by subjecting rhizomatic structures conceived in liminal conditions of the crisis to the logic of hegemony (in Laclau’s terms). This ontological structure is used to analyse the pedagogical reception of Jacques Rancière’s, though as an attempt to rearticulating the meaning of education. Those theoretical attempts have the potential to change the narratives of (in)equality and create perspectives for re-thinking education beyond the current crisis of public schooling and educational theory. |
