Popis: Intermittent fasting has been shown to have beneficial effects on hippocampal function in rodents, but the underlying mechanism is not fully understood. Here the authors show that the mitochondrial protein SIRT3 contributes to the beneficial cognitive and synaptic effects of intermittent fasting in mice.
