Popis: | The entire work of Arendt feeds from multiple records and various fields of knowledge: philosophy and social sciences especially, but also literature and poetry. Sense is accumulated in the language sense. Think consist of an exercise of “thawing” of meanings that inhabit the language. Therefore, there is no thought without words. Language is the medium in which manifests thought. Indeed, the thought needs language not only for speech, but to get moving. Moreover, such is the priority of language, that words and their joints are the only weapons we have to account for the facts of the world. Moreover, language founds community. The city and society are by the public nature of the “logos”. The city, the “Politeya” is construction of facts and words. By word and action we fit into the strictly world. The action is really policy by the world, by the speech. The society is when men talk and feel each other. And when we lose “the powerful light of the agora” lost community. If Arendt’s contribution to language in its relation to knowledge and social life are extraordinarily creative, are not least with regard to poetic language in its role of creativity. Under the influence of Heidegger and Hölderlin’s long shadow, for Arendt in the source language lives: remembering is the essence of thinking, as Plato stated. |
