Diagnostic value of markers of vascular endothe-lial injury in thermal traumas

Popis: | The research goal is to study the composition of biological vascular endothelial injury markers in dynamic development of burn disease. Materials and methods: the investigation included 32 patients with thermal burns. The markers of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) and the number of circulating endothelial cells (CECs) were observed. Results: it was revealed that levels of VEGF, MCP-1 and CECs were significantly increased in patients with thermal traumas. Conclusion: VEGF and MCP-1 were proved to be early and prominent vascular endothelial injury markers in burn disease |
