| Popis: | The title compound, {[Mn(C22H15NO6)(C12H8N2)(H2O]·H2O}n, was obtained under solvothermal conditions. The Mn2+ cation exhibits a distorted pentagonal–bipyramidal MnN2O5 coordination sphere with the water O atom and one of the phenanthroline N atoms in the axial positions. The cation is bridged by the doubly deprotonated 4,4′-[(4-carboxybenzyl)nitrilo]dibenzoate ligand, generating a polymeric chain parallel to [100]. O—H...O hydrogen bonding, as well as π–π interactions between neighbouring phenanthroline ligands, with centroid–centroid distances of 3.695 (1) Å, lead to the construction of a three-dimensional network. |
