Evaluating technical and technological effectiveness of bulldozer equipment utilization in forestry conditions

Popis: Methodological aspects of the optimal choice of bulldozer technological equipment, which are operated in natural production conditions of forestry enterprises, are reviewed. Considering a man-caused impact on the environment, technical and technological suitability of the equipment, recommendations are given for its rational choice according to the following criteria: productivity, cost of work and relative production costs (generalized indicator). As the list of indicators is formed, the applied software for performs engineering calculations, which achieves saving of resources, operative estimation of efficiency parameters of the technological equipment necessary for acceptance of the considered decision. Analytical method for determining the resistance of soil development and experimental-analytical method for resistance against the earthmoving machine are used as a methodological basis to develop automated calculations bulldozer equipment`s operational parameters in order to perform a technological, technical, and economic evaluation of efficiency. Operational properties forecasting of technological equipment in forest management conditions is complete through computer modeling and rational choice of appropriate models from the existing fleet of machines considering the complexity of the task (scope of work, duration of the construction process, soil and climatic conditions, soil transportation distances, etc.), economic and operational performance (in particular availability of modernized working bodies, etc.). A set of major tendencies in improving the efficiency of bulldozer technological equipment in forestry conditions have been formulated. Specific solutions possible for implementation by industry professionals in the field of production and operation of specialized machinery and equipment are proposed.
