Popis: Background and Objectives: Seizure is one of the important reasons for referral to the emergency department, which sometimes indicates serious damage to the brain parenchyma. Since in patients without a history, awareness of the medium-term course of the disease helps the diagnosis, thus, in this study, definition of 6-month prognosis without taking medication, was investigated after the first seizure attack. Methods: This study is an observational cohort study. The sample population included 125 patients, who referred to the emergency of Rasoul Akram Hospital after the first seizure attack, and had no recent history of consumption of anticoagulants, alcohol, narcotics, and psychotropic drugs.
