The use of transradial cardiac catheterization access has increased steadily due to its clear advantages over transfemoral access. However, some laboratories and operators argue that limit its systematization is its lower success rate, based on the technical difficulty and complications specific to this route.We propose a review of some aspects of the specific technique used in this access, as well as complications arising from this.Mastering the art of transradial access improves success proceed through this, like any invasive process has complications.The most frequent: the radial spasm, radial occlusion and hematoma of the wrist.
