Popis:	The authors present the life and work of Marcel Kornfeld (1886 – 1937), a pathologist and a university teacher. The paper chronologically describes Kornfeld’s life, from his beginnings in Donja Tuzla to his death in Zagreb. The most important details from his life and rich career, which was interrupted by his death at the age of 51, are highlighted. The paper was written based on extensive literature and archival research.
