Risk classification of 'Nikola Tesla - B' thermal power plant's ash disposal site

Popis: | In this paper the risk classification of 'Nikola Tesla B' thermal power plant's disposal site according to several criteria with the assessment of the risk that arises from these classifications is given. The risk is analyzed on the basis of two parameters: the impact of the consequences that would be caused with a possible dam accident and the actual probability of the accident itself. Different failure modes of possible accidents were analyzed with the estimate of total probability. Qualitative risk assessment by matrix is given for the disposal site as a common accumulation of solid and liquid phases. It is stated that disposal site is not at risk. The risk assessment for the disposal site as well as the accumulation of water carried by ICOLD was found to be at moderate risk (class II). |
