A new species, Psaphis gerhardi N. Singh, Ahmad & Joshi, sp. nov. is described and illustrated from the Great Nicobar Island, India. The new species represents the second species of Psaphis Walker, 1854 from India and also the first record of the genus from Nicobar Islands. Apart from this a checklist of the known species of the genus is also provided. |
