Popis: Beneath the unconventional allure of hydroponic crops and a floating jungle, Cedric Price’s proposal for Glasgow’s River Clyde banks (1970) is founded on a profound concept of “design infrastructure”. This article unpacks the concept, which intertwined theories of ecological subjectivation, human behavior, and sensory experience within urban planning discourses. In an era increasingly geared towards data-driven processes, Price’s rejection of its determinism in favor of “delight” emerges as a compelling means to forge dynamic urban system and engaged and empowered citizens.
