Popis: | Abstract: Despite the fact that generational differences are a natural phenomenon that arises from the progression and transformation of human eras, the advancements that have been made in media and communication have made it necessary for each generation to involve with and make use of the various communication and media tools that are available to them. The proliferation of new information and communication methods, particularly in the era of the internet, highlights the differences between generations, making them more obvious and critical than ever before. The generation Z stands out through the use of social media, which functions as a primary source of information, a reservoir of knowledge, a medium for communication, and a platform to acquire awareness in cultural, social, political, and economic issues, the purpose of this review paper is to gain an understanding of the way in which Generation Z interacts with social media. Social media serves as an important instrument in many different aspects of life. In this paper, we will attempt to outline the theoretical dimensions that impact the influence of social media on Generation Z, as well as to shed light on the dimensions through which social media has contributed to the transformation of the mindset of Gen Z.
