Popis: | In the article, research to find the coefficient of hydraulic friction in pipes was carried out in the laboratory of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers of the National Research University. The coefficient of hydraulic friction was determined using the Darcy-Weisbach equation in a polypropylene pipe with an internal diameter of 17 mm for drinking water at various flow rates, that is, by changing the average flow rate. A graph of the dependence of the coefficient of hydraulic friction, determined in laboratory conditions, on the Reynolds number was constructed and analyzed. As a result, the absolute value of roughness was determined using the Shifrinson formula for the area of quadratic flow resistance through the average value of the hydraulic friction coefficient. The difference in the absolute value of the roughness of a new and polypropylene pipe that was in operation for a certain period of time was determined and compared. Recommendations are given for the use of polypropylene pipes in practice based on the findings obtained during the experiments. |
