Popis: | Solid and authentic knowledge has been the need of every age, and Islam has provided foundations of such knowledge for every epoch. The authenticity of Islamic sciences in largely based on Hadith sciences. The accuracy of news and the truthfulness of the reporter is considered compulsory by this branch of knowledge. In order to analyse the honesty and truthfulness of a reporter ‘ilm al-Jarah wa al-Ta‘adil was innovated and the classification of a report into ‘Sahih’, ‘Hassan’ and ‘Da‘if’ was introduced to check the accuracy of a news. Through this paper, the authenticated role of Hadith sciences proved in the light of the Qur’ān, Hadith and the opinions of scholars. Particularly, the significance and value of ‘ilm al-Jarah wa al-Ta‘adil’ has been hgihglighted. |
