Popis: Quantum key distribution (QKD) for information-theoretic secure distribution of cryptographic keys is one of the best known applications that will be enabled by the Quantum Internet. Here, the authors deploy the protocol of measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution into a realistic network environment, testing its field performances and showing the co-existing of this QKD protocol and the classical network infrastructure.
