Popis: Iliocaval venous obstruction presents a significant danger to patients with increased risk for deep vein thromboses, wounds, and lower extremity edema. Iliocaval venous obstruction arises from many causes, one of which is congenital deformity of the inferior vena cava. Here we present a 39-year-old man with complex congenital cardiac disease with interruption of the infrahepatic, left-sided, inferior vena cava who presented with nonhealing left leg wounds and edema. He was found to have left common iliac vein occlusion and underwent balloon venoplasty and self-expanding stent placement, which demonstrated mid-term patency of the stent and healing of leg wounds.
