The article analyzes the development of the bourgeois conception of technological education withinthe process of institutionalizing and implementing the science and technology policy, later called the science, technology and innovation policy (ST&I), highlighting the movement from the subsumption of educational policy to politics of ST&I in the periodfrom 1960s to 1990s. Based on the reexamination of the theory of human capital, it seeks to highlight the genesis of the subsumption of educational policy to the ST&I policy to unveil the conception and scope of technological education in the bourgeois perspective. In conclusion, the paradigm shift from knowledge production to a cooperative character of capital production and reproduction is pointed out. This requires the formation of different work capacities under the scope of technological education. |
