Popis: Highlights Anti-cancer effects of hAEC depend on cancer type. Cross-reactive humoral responses do not mediate anti-cancer effects of hAEC. Anti-cancer effects of hAECs are mainly mediated by small-extracellular vesicles (sEV). hAEC-derived sEV (AD-sEV) trigger the Warburg’s effect leading to Arginine consumption and cancer cell apoptosis. AD-sEV substantially inhibits tumor development and increases survival and CTL responses.
