The objective was determine the degradation and kinetics of in vitro fermentation of excreta of excreta produced and marketed for the feeding of ruminants in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. Twelve samplings were made once the reproductive cycle of two chicken and pig producing farms was completed. A bromatological analysis was performed on the excreta samples (dry matter, organic matter, ash, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber), in vitro gas production (maximum volume, rate, lag phase, fractions of fast, medium and slow fermentation), hemicellulose and copper content. A completely randomized design was used, and the comparison of means was performed using the Tukey procedure (p |
