A comparative study of the Effectiveness of the Network Presentation and Concept-mapping with Linear Presentation on Achievement of Experimental Sciences Sixth Grade Elementary Boy School of Khoy City.

Popis: The present study was implemented to compare the effectiveness of network presentation and MindMapper software with linear presentation and PowerPoint software on achievement of experimental sciences and achievement of learners. Research design used in this study is a semi-experimental with pretest and posttest of compared groups. The study subjects were 110 elementary school student’s sixth grade (the Population of the first class is 37, the second class 38 and the class 35 people) in boys of Khoy who were chosen by available sampling method. An experimental sciences achievement test was used to measure the cognitive outputs. The results of Covariance analysis showed that the use of the Mind-Mapper software as a represent of the network presentation compared with the PowerPoint software as a representative of the linear manner information presentation has a significance impact on the experimental sciences achievement (retention& understanding). Pairwise Comparisons showed concept map mean to linear presentation significanc (1/96, 3/13), difference between methods.
