Popis: The Balkan Wars are one of signicant turning points of the Ottoman Empire in the period of defeat and dissolution. As it is known, the wars occurred in negative conditions and resulted in a great defeat. In the aforementioned period, most of the people had to migrate and they experienced hard times. About this subject, a lot of studies were published and have been published today. Among these publications, there are memoirs that were written by witnesses of the development of the wars and the incidents during the wars. In some of them, the wars were recorded daily about military affairs, because the writers of memories are mostly soldiers and commanders. Besides the military information in the memoirs, suffer, deciencies, and mistakes during the wars are also explained. When the memoirs are read, it is possible to see the mistakes of the Ottoman army, which difculties the people and the soldiers lived. As the military operation could be seen in many books, in this study, the difculties during the war, especially mistakes and deciencies will be explained by the information from the memoirs.
