Supply chain management encompasses the planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing and procurement, conversion, and all logistics management activities. Hence, it greatly helps material managers to manage with continuous improvement efforts while maintaining the quality of care, in our case the food quality and the patient’s satisfaction.
