Popis: A mathematical model of the quantum communication channel has been built that contains a photon counter as a receiving unit and allows to take into account how the quantum efficiency of detection, probability of dark pulses formation of the legitimate user receiver module, probability of optical radiation loss due to its unauthorized output from the optical fiber affect the throughput of a quantum communication channel.
