Summary: Regulating cancer-related microRNAs (miRNAs) may become a new generation of therapeutic modalities for cancer treatment. Here, we describe a protocol based on hepatoma-22 (H22) tumor-bearing mice to screen potential targets for treating hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We detail the construction of H22 tumor-bearing mice and treatment with two natural compounds, Ulva lactuca L. polysaccharide (ULP) and 5-fluorouracil (5FU).
