Popis:	As we move towards electrification of transportation, there is a need is a need to replace gas stations with Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations at equally convenient locations and look at various energy storage methods onboard an electric vehicle. There are various charging methods which have been discussed in literature. This paper discusses the common methods of charging and discusses the various technologies that will have tremendous impact in the future on energy storage technology on autonomous electric vehicle.
