| Popis: | This assignment has the objective to evaluate the Vegetation Index in the monitoring class of thesoil and vegetal cover in Cerrado areas, specifically in Araguari River Bay-MG. The AraguariRiver Bay located in the Mesorregião in the Triângulo and Alto Paranaíba, in the portion west ofthe Minas Gerais State, is situated among the coordinates 18º20º and 20º10º south latitude and46º 00 and 48º50º West latitude of Greenwsich, occupying 20.186 km2, enclosing 20 districts. Onboard of platform Earth and Water, and spread by the internet with no costs, the MODIS sensordisplays datas geometrically and radiometrically corrects already, with spacial moderate reso-lution (250m), and dispose many products as the MOD12 Q1. The Vegetation Index are linearspec-tral bands, in the red and infra-red strip near of the electromagnetic. Such index, generallyshows the spectral behavior of the vegetation and are related to the biofisics parameters of thesame like biomass, Foliar Area Index (IAF), amount of vegetal cover. |
