Popis: | The different forms of use and cover soil and the morphology of the buildings cause changes in the urban climate system. Thus, the understanding becomes essential for the environmental planning of urban areas. This work analyzes the urban microclimate system (thermodynamic subsystem) of the Federal University of Paraíba, correlating with its various forms of cover and use land. For the implementation of the data collection (temperature and relative humidity) were used thermohygrometers, during the rainy season (March to August) and the dry season (September to February), in nine points in mesh intra-urban area of study. The level of heat stress was evaluated based on Thom's discomfort index and classified in bands adjusted by Santos (2011). The types of soil cover at each point monitored were sorted into nine classes in accordance with the percentage of vegetation, permeable and impermeable materials. For the arboreal vegetation was collected qualitative and quantitative data. The results showed that the different forms of land use and soil cover have changed the thermal field, and consequently the thermal comfort of the study area, requiring environmental planning. |
