The essay analyses different business cases in which the work is organized according to the dictates of the cd. data-driven management. The data flows reworked by the new algorithmic technologies also make it possible to take automated decisions that aim to improve business performance and optimize the organization. In this scenario, the Author wonders if the GDPR, i.e. the European legislation set to protect the data of natural persons, can constitute a “lever” to develop a collective bargaining aimed at creating participatory models, which involve workers and their representatives in the structuring of digital architectures. Taking up the preventive thinking behind GDPR, the contribution proposes the institution of a shop steward specialized in privacy, the RLP. |
