| Popis: | Epilepsy is a chronic condition whose building blocks are recurrent seizures. It is this varied presentation that at times poses a challenge to making a diagnosis. The response to treatment is also not uniform, making it necessary to individualise. This article discusses the various seizure types, the latest classification by the International League against Epilepsy (ILAE), treatment and prognosis of the condition. |
