| Popis: | Hadith in the second most authentic source of Islam. Unlike Quran, tladith Literature involves weak narrations along with authentically attributed narrations. Scholars of tladith Sciences developed complex system of methods to distinguish sound traditions from the weak traditions. One of the Sciences involved in this complex system is science of al-Jarb wa al-Ta in which each transmitter is profoundly examined and his transmitted narrations being checked by the scholars to determine his degree of authenticity as tladith transmitter. After this profound study, a certain transmitter is either classified as strong and acceptable or weak and unacceptable. One of the important topics of this science is to classify different terms of different scholars, so that the wrong interpretation of their terms may not affect the degrees of transmitters. The current research study is about one of such early scholars, Imam Yabya b. Main. I will try to examine what the Imam really means when he says about the transmitters Laisa Beshayin; which means literally "Not so [valuable] thing". |
